This blog is for everyone who feels their life seems to be directionless. Doesn’t matter even if you are in your late 30s or 40s, age is just a number, you can still read and check out if you missed something in life.

You may find the advices a bit cliche, but sincerely practicing them would help you out inadvertently in your daily life.

1) Read books.

Many people find this boring, but as you get along with reading books, there’s no coming back. I’d suggest you, start with a genre of book you like, it can be an autobiography of your idol or it can be regarding spirituality or wisdom. pick your favorite genre at first and once you get a habit of reading try switching genres to experiment with your interests.

Benefits of reading books:

  • You get to learn life experiences, failures, wisdom which costs you just the price of the book.
  • Helps you to build your vocabulary.
  • Your level of patience and concentration increases as you get better with reading.

Learning a musical instrument is quite an interesting thing to be practised. There is a wide range of instruments available in the market, choose what suits you best, it can be drums, a guitar, a keyboard, a Cajon, a violin, tabla or you can also produce music on a computer using various softwares. Youtube is the best platform to learn musical instruments for free. Get an instrument and the rest is free.

  • you can earn a passive income by teaching kids in your free time.

3) Meditate.

Meditation is one of the most underrated things I’ve seen. People usually link meditation to a certain religion. Meditation is not linked to any religion, you don’t have to chant any mantras, it’s a combination of connection and awareness between you and your mind. One has to dedicate 10–15 minutes a day to meditate. If you want to learn what meditation is and how it should be practised, you can search for videos on youtube by Fittuber, Sandeep Maheshwari or Beerbiceps.

4) Practice a sport.

Each one of us should be good at at least one sport in life. Practicing a sport has numerous benefits on physical as well as mental health, it helps you to stay fit. The main goal of practicing a sport is to achieve fitness while enjoying the activity.

Benefits of practicing a sport:

  • Makes you more disciplined.
  • You stay fit.
  • A healthier heart and lungs.
  • You build a leadership quality.
  • Better sleep.

5) Make good friends

It’s all about the association you are with, what kind of friends you spend your time with, what content do you consume from them.

Friends play a major role in your life, they influence you, they direct you, they teach you, in short, they build you.

There is a famous ethological quote in Hinduism which states,

“लब मात्र साधु संग सब सिद्धि होय ।।”

which means even a fourteenth part of a second spent with the right association of people, changes your life.

You’re the average of your five closest friends. So be wise while choosing your friends.

These were the five best life advices for a 16 year old.

Each advice is important, stop chasing academic success in life, it leads you nowhere, at the end what helps is your thinking ability, your leadership skills, your attitude and discipline. Sadly schools fail to teach these.

Trust me even 35 percent marks are enough to make you a billionaire!
